I’ve experimented with High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography for a while now, but I finally have a good before and after example to share. HDR basically yields an image with a higher exposure range than a traditional image or even our eyes are capable of capturing. Here’s what it looks like—visit the site see them larger.
What you’re looking at is about six images at different exposures merged together. The result is better exposure and detail in the lightest-lights and darkest-darks of the image. Which one do you like better?

It’s been a long two years of grocery shopping, but today we finally got to experience the Market Street United again, and while it was one of the busiest grocery stores I’ve been in, it was still great to be back in a United.

We spent last night with my brother and his wife enjoying some Alfredo Pizza, Queso, and a little lighting experiment. I love what it did to the hair.

Just driving down the highway…

Here are a few shots from the race.
This first picture shows how dense the roads were. With over 30,000 runners, the roads really didn’t clear up the entire time.



Spent the weekend playing Monopoly with the family.

This is so much more fun than the old version—probably because you can spend money so much faster!
The lilies we received at the hospital are still blooming and look great.

My grandpa came across this picture in an old newspaper with me and my brothers at Floydada’s Pumpkin Day. I’m the one on my knees at the first bucket. I can still remember the sheer number of pumpkins - everywhere - and the largest pumpkin contest with small-sized-car pumpkins.
